Job Title: Painter

Job Description

This role is for a skilled painter within a manufacturing facility, focusing on the operation of a spray painter in an industrial setting. The painter will be responsible for painting both components and finished products prior to their dispatch to customers.

Responsibilities

+ Operate a spray painter in an industrial setting.

+ Paint both components and finished products before dispatch.

+ Mix paint according to specifications.

+ Work within the spray booth to ensure complete coverage.

+ Move products to and from the paint booth using a forklift and/or pallet jack.

Essential Skills

+ 2+ years of experience in spray painting within an industrial setting.

+ Proficiency in painting, paint prep, industrial painting, and spray gun operation.

+ Experience in material handling using a forklift or pallet jack.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

+ Must own steel-toed boots.

Work Environment

The work schedule is Monday through Thursday from 5 a.m. to 3:30 p.m., with 10-hour days. There may be occasional work on Fridays and Saturdays. The work setting is industrial, requiring safety gear such as steel-toed boots.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of South Bend, Indiana.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $19.00 - $19.00/hr.
