Job Title: Production Supervisor
Job Description
Supervise a team of production-level assemblers on a temporary afternoon shift. Oversee 15-20 employees. Set day-to-day activities and assist in managing and monitoring production operations, scheduling, and personnel.
Responsibilities
+ Ensure all quality-related items for cells are complete and documented to meet established quality standards.
+ Assist in cost reduction and process improvement to ensure efficiency of operations and cost-effectiveness.
+ Assist in sequencing of work, such as build and delivery, for a cell to optimize productivity.
+ Coordinate activities for materials and logistics problem resolution of a cell to ensure availability of materials and smooth operations.
+ Monitor cell performance and productivity to maximize output.
+ Assist in production innovation, including additive manufacturing, to enhance the cell's production capabilities.
Essential Skills
+ 3-7+ years of management experience in a manufacturing environment.
+ Experience in developing analysis in Excel, PowerPoint, and MS Access.
+ Operations management, production management, and supervision skills.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
+ Prior experience in an electronics environment is preferred.
+ Project management and profit and loss analysis experience.
+ Continuous improvement and production planning skills.
+ Leadership development abilities.
+ HS Diploma or GED required; Bachelor's or Master’s degree preferred.
+ Advanced skills in developing analysis in Excel, PowerPoint, and/or MS Access.
+ Expertise in driving business process improvement initiatives.
+ Strong analytical and strategic thinking skills.
+ Strong verbal and written communication skills.
+ Result-driven mindset with the ability to work cross-functionally.

Work Environment
Work on the 2nd shift from 2pm to 10:30pm, Monday to Friday, in an electro/mechanical manufacturing environment with four different lines. A smock and the necessary equipment are provided, although safety shoes are not. There may be an epoxy smell in certain areas.

This is a Contract position based out of Minneapolis, Minnesota.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $75000.00 - $100000.00/hr.
