Entry Level Water Engineer

We are looking for a driven and curious Entry Level Water Engineer in our Holladay, Utah, Location
As part of our team, you will work with a core group of engineers and designers on some of the most complex drinking water and reuse treatment projects in our region. You will work in planning studies, pilot scale evaluations, treatment technologies, detailed design engineering, and field assignments to collaborate with our team to deliver meaningful solutions for water project challenges locally, nationally, and across the globe. The work will involve technical studies, computer modelling, technical writing, engineering design, and engineering services during construction.
* Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Civil, Environmental, Mechanical, or Chemical preferred)
* Educational emphasis and strong interest in water system design and operation
* Excellent oral and written communications, self-motivation, team-oriented work practices, strong data analysis skills, technical problem-solving ability, organizational skills, and the ability to effectively multi-task in a fast-paced environment
* Proficient skills with MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
Ideally, you’ll also have:
* A GPA of at least 3.0
* Master’s or other graduate degree in Engineering (Civil, Environmental, or Mechanical preferred)
* Previous work experience in engineering, construction, or facility operations
* Completed internship in a water treatment-related field
* Engineer in Training (EIT) certificate
* Hydraulic modelling experience (e.g. Fathom, AutoPIPE)
* Wet chemistry laboratory skills
* Authorization to work in the United States without the need for visa sponsorship, now or in the future
