    What You’ll Do

    * Lead field surveys including control, boundary, topography, and laser scanning

    * Collect high-quality data using advanced equipment and ensure regulatory compliance

    * Produce clear field notes and maintain organized records

    * Perform equipment checks and calibrations to ensure accuracy

    * Communicate effectively with clients, team members, and stakeholders

    * Represent Jacobs with professionalism and integrity in the field

    * Stay current with emerging technologies and recommend process improvements

    * 2+ years of experience as an Instrument Operator, Party Chief, or Survey Technician

    * Proven ability to complete all aspects of field surveying tasks

    * Experience in topographic design surveys, laser scanning, UAV photogrammetry, subsurface utilities, boundary and/or ROW

    * Ability to travel up to 50% and work in outdoor environments

    * High school diploma or GED

    * Ability to pass MRV, drug, and background checks

    Preferred Qualifications

    * Experience with Trimble equipment and software

    * FAA Part 107 pilot’s certificate

    * CST, LSI, or PLS certification
