    Description

    We are seeking a meticulous and skilled Accounting Clerk on a contract basis to join our team in Cuyahoga Falls, Ohio. This role provides the chance to contribute to vital financial operations within a dynamic environment in the food and food processing industry. The ideal candidate will possess strong organizational skills and expertise in accounts payable and receivable, invoice processing, and data integrity.

    Key Responsibilities:

    + Efficiently handle accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions, ensuring accuracy and timely processing.

    + Accurately prepare, enter, and manage vendor invoices, maintaining well-organized financial records.

    + Issue customer invoices, resolving discrepancies in a timely manner.

    + Perform accurate data entry for financial transactions and reports with high attention to detail.

    + Utilize tools like QuickBooks and Microsoft Excel to manage and analyze financial data consistently.

    + Reconcile accounts and ensure compliance with company financial policies and procedures.

    + Assist in creating financial statements and other relevant accounting reports.

    + Address and resolve billing and payment inquiries from vendors and customers.

    + Collaborate with the team to support streamlined financial operations and reporting processes.

    + Provide administrative assistance with additional accounting tasks as needed.

     

    Requirements • Proven experience in accounts payable and accounts receivable processes.

     

    • Proficiency in using QuickBooks and Microsoft Excel for financial tasks.

    • Strong data entry skills with a focus on accuracy and attention to detail.

    • Ability to process invoices and manage financial records efficiently.

    • Familiarity with standard accounting principles and practices.

    • Excellent organizational and time management skills.

    • Effective communication skills to interact with vendors, customers, and team members.

    • Ability to work independently and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
