    Description We are looking for a detail-oriented Data Entry Clerk to join our team in Portland, Maine. In this long-term contract position, you will be responsible for accurately inputting and managing data, ensuring proper organization and accessibility. This role is ideal for someone with strong organizational skills and a keen eye for accuracy.

    Responsibilities:

    • Enter and update data into systems with precision and efficiency.

    • Organize and maintain electronic and physical files for easy access.

    • Perform calculations and ensure accuracy in data processing.

    • Scan, upload, and manage documents using relevant software.

    • Respond to email correspondence promptly and professionally.

    • Use Microsoft Word to format and edit documents as needed.

    • Execute typing tasks with speed and accuracy.

    • Provide courteous and effective customer service when interacting with stakeholders.

    • Utilize 10-key skills to efficiently input numerical data.

    • Ensure data integrity by regularly reviewing and correcting errors. Requirements • Proven experience in data entry or similar roles.

    • Proficiency in 10-key typing with high accuracy.

    • Strong knowledge of Microsoft Word and basic computer applications.

    • Ability to organize files and manage documentation effectively.

    • Excellent typing skills with attention to detail.

    • Familiarity with scanning and uploading processes.

    • Strong communication skills, including effective email handling.

    • Ability to perform basic calculations as part of data processing tasks.
