Job Title: Production Associate

Offering both 1st and 3rd shift . These will be 12 hour swing shifts with a 2-2-3-3 schedule

1st shift: 6am-6:30pm- $20.65/hr

3rd shift: 6pm-6:30am -$22.65/hr

Job Description

As a Production Associate, you will be responsible for the visual inspection of IV bags, including weight inspection, checking for functional and cosmetic defects, and ensuring seal integrity. Once inspected, you will load units into the pasteurization cart following a specific sequence. This role requires spending 50%-80% of the day at a workstation.

Responsibilities

+ Support all local manufacturing operations.

+ Supply components, small parts, glassware, tubing, etc., to cell culture and purification areas.

+ Operate general production equipment such as parts washers, autoclave, and stir plates.

+ Complete relevant paperwork following GDP/GMP guidelines.

+ Manually clean all portable equipment and small parts.

+ Participate in Continuous Improvement Teams.

+ Receive and distribute supplies into the production area as necessary.

+ Perform daily cleaning of the production area to maintain a GMP standard.

+ May perform other duties as assigned.

+ Operate a computer for most of the training and daily tasks, utilizing basic functions.

Essential Skills

+ Experience in cleanroom environments, manufacturing, production, and inspection.

+ Familiarity with medical devices and pharmaceutical manufacturing.

+ Knowledge of GMP guidelines.

+ Ability to perform general labor tasks.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

+ Must have a high school diploma or GED equivalent.

+ Must be able to lift up to 25 lbs.

+ Cannot be allergic to penicillin.

+ Willingness to work flexible hours, which may include shifts before and after regular hours or Saturdays.

Work Environment

The role is based in a cleanroom environment where wearing a cleanroom gown, hair net, beard guard (if applicable), gloves, and closed-toe shoes is mandatory. Jewelry, false fingernails, nail polish, or makeup are not permitted. Candidates must be able to lift up to 30 pounds and reach up to 5'8" to access materials on a cart.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $20.65 - $22.65/hr.
