Job Title: Calibration Technician

Job Description

We are seeking a highly motivated Calibration Technician to work on the calibration, testing, and validation of handheld analytic testing devices. These portable analytical devices are capable of identifying any compound, mineral, or element in any location. Ideal candidates will thrive in a fast-paced, high-tech manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities

+ Calibrate, test, and validate handheld analytic testing devices.

+ Troubleshoot and repair devices as necessary.

+ Work collaboratively as part of a team consisting of two Assembly Technicians.

+ Ensure quality control and precision in all tasks.

+ Utilize hand tools and test equipment effectively.

Essential Skills

+ Experience in calibration, instrumentation, and validation.

+ Proficiency in troubleshooting and testing electronic devices.

+ Strong mechanical ability and familiarity with assembly processes.

+ Knowledge of quality control practices and procedures.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

+ Familiarity with Excel for data management.

+ Mechanically inclined with a keen eye for detail.

Work Environment

Work in a clean manufacturing environment with your own workstation and the support of a team. The schedule includes a first shift for orientation, transitioning to a second shift from 7:00 am to 3:30 pm, Monday through Friday.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based in Andover, Massachusetts.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $27.00/hr.
