    Job Title: Team Lead - 3rd Shift! This is a direct hire position in Tecumseh, MI!

    Job Description

    We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Team Lead for our Melting 3rd shift. You will play a crucial role in ensuring the safety and efficiency of our production floor while leading a team of operators.

    Responsibilities

    + Ensure safety is the number one priority on the production floor.

    + Execute a production plan, including daily metrics and weekly inventory.

    + Supervise, mentor, and train a team of 5-10 operators.

    + Work directly with maintenance in troubleshooting equipment.

    + Become a process expert, able to step into any role in the department and support your team.

    + Spend 90% of your time on the floor overseeing, leading, and working alongside maintenance, and 10% on inventory, emails, and Excel tasks.

    Essential Skills

    + 3+ years of leadership experience.

    + Experience in training, mentoring, and creating processes for employees.

    + Proficiency in supervision, inventory management, production supervision, and production management.

    Additional Skills & Qualifications

    + Experience in a foundry or similar production environment.

    + Machine operation expertise.

    Work Environment

     

    Work in a true foundry setting within the Melting department, primarily producing materials for itemized blast cleaning. Expect a very hot and sweaty environment with shifts from 11pm to 7:30am, Monday through Friday, with a 30-minute lunch break. Overtime and weekends may be required as needed, and a shift premium is included.

    This is a Permanent position based out of Tecumseh, Michigan.

     

    Pay and Benefits

     

    The pay range for this position is $62400.00 - $72800.00/yr.
