The Atlantis Steakhouse listed as one of the Best overall Steakhouse in the Reno Tahoe area and recipient of the AAA Four Diamond award has opened a Fine Dining Hostess position

Shift: Swing

Responsibilities

+ Responsible for initial guest interaction at the door and welcoming all visitors to the restaurant and setting the tone for their experience

+ Monitor door/podium at all times to ensure prompt seating of guests.

+ Answer phones and take reservations.

+ Pleasant, conscientious and professional with excellent hospitality instincts & drive to provide customer service

+ Able to operate effectively as part of a team, communicate clearly, ensure smooth service operations and quality service

+ Take payments from Guests and ensure proper cash handling techniques

+ Ability to communicate with Guests and also with restaurant management staff.

+ Must conduct oneself in a manner that reflects a positive professional image.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is occasionally required to stand; walk; use hands to finger, handle or feel objects, tools or controls; reach with hands and arms; talk, and hear. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by the job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and the ability to focus.

Qualifications

+ Must be impeccably groomed, maintain good hygiene, good posture and will be required to wear hostess fine dining uniform.

+ Applicants must possess a strong dedication toward learning and motivation to progress in a fine dining environment.

+ Ability to operate a cash register POS system

+ Pleasant phone demeanor

+ **Must adhere to all grooming standards, no "visible" tattoos/piercings or unnatural hair colors**
