Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Accounting Specialist to fulfill an immediate need within our finance team. This role focuses on Accounts Receivable (AR) and Accounts Payable (AP) responsibilities. We are looking for a candidate who can hit the ground running and contribute to the team during this crucial period.

While this is a temporary role, it has the potential to turn into a permanent position for the right individual.

Responsibilities

+ Accurately process invoices, ensuring compliance with organizational policies.

+ Manage check runs and issue payments in a timely manner.

+ Process incoming donations and other forms of payment.

+ Perform daily reconciliations for deposits and ensure records are accurately maintained.

+ Communicate effectively with internal teams.

+ Maintain organized and up-to-date records for auditing purposes.

Requirements

Requirements

+ Proven experience in accounting or bookkeeping, ideally with AR and AP focus.

+ Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel expertise preferred).

+ Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks effectively within tight deadlines.

+ Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.

+ Familiarity with non-profit accounting practices is a plus but not required.
