    Siemens Digital Industries Automation is a leader in industrial automation and digitalization.     We are looking for rising and recent engineering graduates for our Automation Genesis program – Solution Architect/Sales Specialist track. The first six months of this position will be based at Mason, OH, with subsequent placements at Alpharetta, GA; Elk Grove Village, IL; Chicago, IL; Harleysville, PA; or Livonia, MI.

     

    This program is an immersive, three-phased development pathway designed to prepare you for impactful roles within Siemens DI Automation. The journey begins with a 6-month intensive onboarding phase that combines structured training with hands-on project work to build your foundational knowledge of Siemens DI Automation’s portfolio and professional skills, gaining a deep understanding of our industrial automation technologies and their applications, followed by a 12-month development phase to deepen your portfolio-specific expertise, refine customer engagement skills, and gain practical experience in portfolio consulting. Upon successful completion, participants will transition to phase three: a designated full-time role within our Technical Sales team, typically as a Customer Solution Architect, Service Sales Specialist, or Portfolio Sales Specialist.

    You’ll** ** make an impact by:

    + Learning and mastering Siemens' DI Automation technology portfolio, including factory automation, motion control, process automation, digital enterprise services.

    + Developing expertise in presenting our technology solutions using the Challenger Sales Methodology and building trusted advisor relationships with customers to effectively guide them through their digitalization journey, highlighting the benefits of Industry 4.0 and communicating the value of a Siemens partnership.

    + Providing pre-sales technical consultations and conducting technical demonstrations and Proof of Concepts.

    + Creating technical proposals and generating comprehensive Bills of Material for customer projects.

    + Collaborating with the Sales Teams and Application Engineers.

    You’ll win us over by having the following qualifications:

    Basic Qualifications:

    + Available to start full-time employment in June 8, 2026.

    + Bachelor’s degree: Industrial/Industrial Systems Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or related majors.

    + Must graduate no earlier than Spring 2025 and no later than May 31, 2026 (rising/recent graduates only).

    + Must be willing and able to commit to the required relocations: first to Mason, OH for 6 months, followed by 12 months in Alpharetta, GA; Elk Grove Village, IL; Chicago, IL; Livonia, MI; or Harleysville, PA. Relocation assistance is provided to hires who must relocate more than 50 miles from their permanent address for each required move.

    + Travel requirements will be a function of assigned projects and will likely range from periods of light travel (5-10%) to periods of higher travel (50%).

    + Legally authorized to work in the United States on a continual and permanent basis without the need for current or future company sponsorship.

    Preferred Qualifications:

    + Previous internship or project experience in industrial/manufacturing environment.

    + Leadership experience through academic or extracurricular activities.

    + Excellent communication skills and strong customer focus.

    + Business minor or prior business-related coursework and business acumen.

    + Understanding of sales processes or customer relationship management.
