As a Contract Logistics Specialist at Kuehne+Nagel, you will manage end-to-end warehousing operations for our customers. We are looking for a Continuous Improvement Black Belt to spearhead the Continuous Improvement projects at our site in **Shelbyville, KY.** If you have successful 3PL (Third-party Logistics) industrial or continuous improvement engineering experience and are motivated by being a key player in Lean Six or Kaizen projects consider joining Kuehne+Nagel in Shelbyville, KY. The right candidate will have a continuous improvement mindset and a tendency towards 5S in the workplace

How you create impact

+ You will be responsible and accountable for the Continuous Improvement of site project programs

+ Champion transformation and innovation

+ Identify opportunities and take actions to upgrade site excellence

+ Support and co-implement 5S, visual management, work instructions, and other production system standards

+ Secure productivity management usage and run productivity initiatives

+ Support and co-facilitate deep dive Value Stream Analysis (VSA), Value Stream Mapping (VSM), Kaizen, and other Lean events

+ Deliver project portfolios resulting from VSA activity

+ Align projects and continuous improvement activity to meet both savings targets and site productivity targets

+ Manage trackers and reports to ensure data integrity and that savings are validated with financial controllers

+ You will work with the Regional Black Belt in the development and coaching of the Lean Six Sigma Yellow and Green Belts

What we would like you to bring

+ Degree in Supply Chain, Industrial Engineering, or equivalent work experience

+ Lean Six Black Belt

+ Continuous Improvement experience for 5 -10 years

+ Project Management experience for 2- 5 years

+ 5-10 years in a Warehousing environment
