    Job Details

    We are seeking a strategic and experienced Director of Plant Engineering to lead all aspects of facility operations, engineering, maintenance, and capital improvement. This is a high-impact leadership role responsible for ensuring safety, compliance, sustainability, and operational excellence across our hospital campus.

    Key Responsibilities:

    + Lead plant operations, preventive maintenance, and in-house renovations across all hospital facilities and grounds

    + Develop and implement short- and long-term engineering goals, policies, and cost-effective strategies

    + Manage department budgets and optimize resource allocation

    + Ensure compliance with safety standards and regulatory agencies (e.g., Joint Commission, OSHA)

    + Drive sustainability and lead execution of the hospital’s 2030 decarbonization roadmap

    + Support capital development and modernization projects

    + Foster a high-performance team culture focused on safety, quality, and innovation

    Qualifications:

    + Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Facilities Management, or a related field

    + 5+ years of leadership experience in healthcare engineering and plant operations

    + Strong knowledge of hospital systems (HVAC, plumbing, electrical, etc.)

    + Project management experience with excellent communication and interpersonal skills

    + Proficiency in AutoCAD and Microsoft Office Suite

    + Experience in energy efficiency, alternative fuels, and environmental sustainability preferred

    + CHFM certification preferred

     

    Salary Range

     

    USD $150,000.00 - USD $190,000.00 /Yr.
