    Position Summary:

    Unity House of Troy is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Program Director to lead our Crisis Residence, a six-bed program offering a safe, supportive environment for adults experiencing mental health crises. This short-term stabilization program provides person-centered, trauma-informed services to help participants manage symptoms and prepare to transition back into the community.

     

    As Program Director, you will oversee program operations, supervise a multidisciplinary team, and ensure high-quality, individualized care. This role is ideal for a collaborative leader who is passionate about recovery-oriented services and empowering individuals on their journey toward wellness.

    Key Responsibilities:

    + Oversee daily operations to ensure delivery of high-quality, trauma-informed care.

    + Supervise, support, and develop program staff.

    + Collaborate with the team to create and implement individualized participant service plans.

    + Establish and maintain effective systems and procedures for program functioning.

    + Facilitate service collaboration among participants, staff, and multidisciplinary systems.

    + Participate in care coordination and case review meetings.

    + Provide advocacy, accompaniment, and support to participants as needed.

    + Participate in a rotating on-call system to ensure program coverage.

    + Foster a culture of inclusion, equity, and belonging within the team and program.

    Qualifications:

    + Bachelor’s Degree in a Human Services field (or equivalent experience).

    + Minimum of three (3) years of experience working with adults living with mental illness.

    + At least two (2) years of supervisory or managerial experience (or equivalent).

    + Clean and valid NYS driver’s license and reliable transportation required.

    + Strong organizational and leadership skills.

    + Ability to work both independently and collaboratively as part of a team.

    + Proficiency with computers and electronic documentation systems.
