    As a PSR, you'll be the first point of contact for patients—both in person and over the phone—playing a key role in providing exceptional service and ensuring that every visit starts with professionalism, warmth, and efficiency.     What You’ll Do:

    + Greet all incoming patients with a friendly, professional attitude

    + Complete new patient registrations and verify patient demographics using EHR systems

    + Confirm insurance eligibility, collect payments, and maintain accurate records

    + Schedule appointments and assist with pre-visit insurance verification

    + Handle incoming calls, route inquiries, and provide helpful information

    + Educate patients about sliding fee scale programs and pharmacy preferences

    + Maintain daily logs of cash and token distribution

    + Collaborate with nursing and medical teams to ensure a smooth patient flow

    + Conduct outreach calls to confirm appointments and welcome new HMO plan members

    ?What You’ll Need:

    + High School Diploma required

    + Prior experience in healthcare, patient services, or medical office setting preferred

    + Proficiency in EHR systems and computer applications

    + Bilingual in one or more of the languages commonly spoken in the community is a plus

    + Excellent communication, customer service, and problem-solving skills

    + Ability to multitask and maintain professionalism in a busy environment

    + Strong attention to detail, especially in financial and data entry tasks
