About You
Nutrafol is looking for a People Operations Associate to join our innovative People team. The People Operations Associate should be an innovative thinker with outstanding written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills. We want someone who can grow and thrive in the gray area, while helping align organizational processes, and be a culture leader at Nutrafol. This role will report to our Director of People.
_*While this position is remote, candidates should be based in the NYC Metro Area and be comfortable traveling to and working from the NYC Office 2x a month._
Responsibilities
+ Partner with the Director of People, cross functional business leaders, and employees to understand needs/objectives and implement solutions to address needs.
+ Manage our PEO system (Paylocity), keeping all of our systems up-to-date and compliant.
+ Run onboarding from start to finish, including systems such as Paylocity, Seamless, JOON, Greenhouse.
+ Take control of on-boarding new employees, constantly brainstorming new and innovative ideas to improve our current processes.
+ Run payroll and coordinate with the Finance & Accounting teams.
+ Facilitate People processes across the employee lifecycle including on-boarding, performance management, compensation, and off-boarding.
+ Collaborate with IT on onboarding, offboarding, any People related technology needs.
+ Assist with employee-relations issues, and escalate to the People Business Partner and Chief People Officer as needed.
+ Serve as an advisor for employees and managers alike on company policies, benefits, performance, and culture.
+ Maintain an in-depth knowledge of legal requirements, internal and external related to the day-to-day management of employees within the business, reducing legal risks, guaranteeing regulatory compliance, and most importantly enabling employee engagement.
+ Assist in the development of employee programs and lead efforts in launching and managing them.
+ Respond to internal and external HR related inquiries or requests and provide assistance as needed.
+ Continuously improve our People team processes, and get involved in other activities as agreed to, in collaboration with the team.
+ Oversee and support all administrative duties in the office and ensure that the office is operating smoothly.
+ Assist with managing and maintaining IT infrastructure within the NYC office.
+ Liaison with Building Management/Maintenance and address building related matters.
Requirements
+ 1-2 years of experience in an HR/People Operations role
+ Experienced with HRIS systems - we use Paylocity and Greenhouse
+ Working knowledge of Google Suite - Sheets/Slides/Docs, and internal tools - Slack, Zoom, and Google Meets
+ Experience in an ambiguous, lean, high-growth environment is a plus
+ Credibility as someone people gravitate to, for counsel and support
+ Is approachable, relatable, and deeply trustworthy
+ Strong emotional intelligence, judgment, diplomacy, empathy, and understands confidentiality
+ Ability to flex between being strategic, while being able to execute on deliverables is crucial in this role
+ Highly efficient, able to prioritize and tackle the most meaningful issues
+ Proposes well-researched ideas to improve the workplace and employee experience
+ Effective communication and critical thinking skills
Nutrafol takes into consideration a wide range of factors in final compensation decisions, including but not limited to: skill sets, experience and training, licensure and certifications, qualifications and education, and other business and organizational needs. The listed range is applicable only to the annual base salary and does not include additional perks, benefits, or applicable bonus eligibility comprising the total compensation package.
Salary Range:
$70,000—$80,000 USD
