Human Resources Specialist
Job Description
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Human Resources Specialist to join our team. This role is pivotal in managing project processes, coordinating vendor budgets, and ensuring compliance with HR regulations. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in human resources and project management, coupled with excellent communication and organizational skills.
Responsibilities
+ Support the tracking of project timelines, deliverables, and budgets to ensure timely execution.
+ Assist in reviewing and documenting Talent Acquisition (TA) processes to identify and implement improvements.
+ Support project meetings by preparing updates, maintaining documentation, and coordinating follow-ups.
+ Coordinate with internal and external contacts, including recruiters, hiring managers, IT, Finance, and Legal, to support project tasks.
+ Track vendor performance and service level agreements (SLAs).
+ Maintain accurate records of vendor contracts, invoices, and communications.
+ Support budget tracking and assist with invoice processing.
+ Monitor recruitment activities to ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations.
+ Maintain accurate documentation and auditing support for all TA processes.
+ Identify and escalate potential compliance risks.
+ Generate and distribute reports on compliance initiatives and project progress.
+ Help document and maintain standard operating procedures (SOPs) and project files.
+ Conduct research on HR and Talent Acquisition trends, tools, and compliance updates, and share insights to support continuous improvement.
+ Assist with testing, documenting, and auditing in Talent Acquisition's internal and external systems.
+ Support data entry, user access, and troubleshooting to ensure system accuracy and functionality.
+ Maintain data integrity and compliance across platforms.
Essential Skills
+ 3+ years of experience in an HR/HRIS role.
+ Advanced knowledge of Excel.
+ Strong communication, time management, and organizational skills.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
+ Associates degree or equivalent experience in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
+ Bachelor's Degree preferred.
+ Workday experience preferred.
+ Experience with schedule and project coordination.
+ Budget support experience.
Work Environment
This position operates in a hybrid work environment, requiring four days in the office and one day working from home. The typical work schedule is Monday through Friday, from 7:30 AM to 4:30 PM.
Job Type & Location
This is a Contract position based out of Marysville, Ohio.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $23.18 - $26.49/hr.
