Description
The Director, Product Management is a strategic leadership role responsible for driving the successful delivery of large-scale, cross-functional product initiatives within the telecommunications sector. This position oversees all aspects of product development, launch, positioning, pricing, and promotion, while ensuring alignment with business objectives and market demands. The director leads market analysis, competitive research, and business planning to capitalize on opportunities and mitigate risks. Key responsibilities include managing stakeholder relationships, guiding product lifecycle management, and fostering operational excellence. The ideal candidate will have at least eight years of management experience, including five years in product management, and demonstrate strong communication, analytical, and leadership skills, with a preference for expertise in fiber optic communications and P&L management.

• Researches, analyzes, and monitors financial, technological, and demographic factors to capitalize on market opportunities and minimize effects of competitive activity
• Responsible for all aspects of product development, launch, obsolescence, positioning, pricing and promotion
• Create and execute business plans which maximize growth and diversification potential, including competitive threats, opportunities, as well as important decision-making criteria
• Evaluates and recommends distribution channel development programs
• Oversees development and production of collateral materials
• Oversees and evaluates market research and adjusts marketing strategy to meet changing market and competitive conditions
• Monitors competitive products and marketing activities
• Oversees development and maintenance of customer database
• Establishes and maintains relationships with industry influences and key community and strategic partners
• Conducts surveys on current and new product concepts and provides feedback for future product development
• Establishes and maintains a consistent corporate image throughout all product lines, promotional materials, and events
• Always communicates and interfaces with customers

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $180000.00 - $220000.00/yr.
