Description
We are seeking a skilled and motivated Manufacturing Application Supervisor to lead a team of System Administrators and Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) who provide support and strategic guidance for key manufacturing software, including manufacturing execution systems (MES), shop floor management, quality management system (QMS) software and other manufacturing-critical platforms. This role ensures high-quality support, efficient operations, and alignment with business goals by overseeing the daily activities, performance, and development of the SME team. This position gathers feedback from primary manufacturing application projects in flight to continually identify process constraints and propose improvements and solutions. This position is also responsible for creating & maintaining platforms for resource utilization reporting, projections, training, and assisting with the hiring process for the Manufacturing Application Support team. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: • Supervise and coordinate the work of a team of application SMEs, ensuring timely and effective support and project delivery. • Serve as an escalation point for complex technical and business process issues related to supported applications. • Facilitate communication between the SME team and internal stakeholders (Business Technology, business units, project teams). • Oversee application lifecycle activities including enhancements, integrations, upgrades, and vendor coordination. • Collaborate with product owners, business partners, business analysts, and other key stakeholders to translate business needs into scalable solutions. • Ensure adherence to change management, security, and compliance processes. • Monitor team performance through KPIs and service metrics; provide coaching, feedback, and performance reviews. • Identify opportunities to optimize system usage, improve efficiency, and enhance user experience. • Stay current on technology trends and system updates relevant to manufacturing technology/software. • Support capacity planning, resource allocation, and team development initiatives. • Capture new processes and communicate with the rest of the organization. • Interview and hire new resources as needed. • Establish relationships and partners with contract resources for potential work support. • Support software implementation and maintenance. • Maintain QA/QC process for deliverables. • Perform other related duties as required and assigned.

Additional Skills & Qualifications
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS Education: Bachelor’s degree in information technology, Business, or related field (or equivalent work experience). Experience: • 8+ years of experience supporting manufacturing applications, with at least 2 years in a supervisory or lead role. • Be proficient in manufacturing execution systems (MES), shop floor management, and quality management system (QMS) software. • Possess strong knowledge of manufacturing processes. • Have experience in the support, configuration, and advancement of manufacturing technology systems. Travel: 10-25% Work Schedule: Typical work hours are between 7:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m. Monday – Friday; However, work may be performed at any time on any day of the week to meet business needs.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $50.00 - $60.00/hr.
