    The Senior Marketing Technologist (Sr. MT) role within the Events and Experiences Martech team is essential for the implementation and management of our marketing technology stack.

     

    This role is responsible for designing and consulting on technical solutions and eliminating technical redundancies. It ensures that new technical implementations are executed efficiently and comply with organizational standards and patterns. This role serves as the single point of accountability for end-to-end technical implementations, synthesizing inputs from various functional and engineering teams into a cohesive digital architecture. Sr. MTs are experts in Adobe cloud marketing platforms, including Adobe Experience Manager (AEP), Adobe Real-Time Customer Data Platform (RTCDP), Adobe Web Software Development Kit (WebSDK). They focus on ensuring the Adobe platforms and database function as expected, meet business compliance requirements, and follow industry best practices. This ensures the platform can deliver multi-channel solutions to recipients and allows for the mitigation and/or triage of any activities impeding system performance. This technical role requires an understanding of AEP, RTCDP, WebSDK and its related and integrated systems, as well as a demonstrated knowledge of email deliverability, privacy and compliance regulations, and data hygiene best practices. Sr. MTs are also collaborators: nearly all projects involve multiple teams, including Marketing Operations, Marketing Engineering, Lead Management, Artificial Intelligence (AI), Privacy, and more. Sr. MTs are often consulted due to their broad and in-depth understanding of the different systems connected to the Adobe platforms. They independently manage their work at a project level and participate directly in larger initiatives that impact the health of the overall Martech ecosystem.

    Responsibilities

    + Manages stakeholder relationships as the primary technical contact for Adobe Experience Platform, Adobe Realtime Customer Data Platform, and Adobe Web Software Development Kit, ensuring technology solutions meet business needs.

    + Collaborates with marketing technology foundational teams to align with goals, standards, and updates in tools or processes.

    + Owns the review and refinement of solutions with project managers and stakeholders, ensuring compliance with best practices and organizational policies.

    + Collaborates with engineering teams to ensure jointly developed solutions will be successful and impactful - Designs and builds database hygiene workflows and logic within Adobe Experience Platform to ensure platform health is at the optimal level to meet marketing and sales KPIs.

    + Responsible for adhering to key build standards and patterns in system architecture and data management, ensuring consistent and high-quality implementations.

    + Architects and builds Adobe WebSDK tags within Adobe Experience Platform to improve transparency, robustness, and reliability web page tagging solutions.

    + Manages/maintains Adobe Experience Platform and Adobe Real-time Customer Data Platform schemas for scalability and flexibility for personalization use cases.

    + Manages/monitors operational reports and dashboards.

    + Oversees platform operations delivery, resolving technical issues, and providing regular status updates to stakeholders.

    + Understands all integrated systems from a technical standpoint and can troubleshoot issues that may have root cause in any of the many interconnected platforms.

    + Handles any privacy triage including issue validation, resolution, remediation, and mitigation.

    + Attends regular and recurring meetings related to lead management, platform health, and foundational work.

    + Fosters a collaborative environment, ensuring alignment with project objectives, timelines, and cross-team knowledge sharing - Communicates technical ideas to non-technical stakeholders and leadership, building consensus

    Qualifications

    Required/minimum qualifications

    + Bachelor's Degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, Finance, Engineering, or related field AND 5+ years of marketing operations, program management, project management, or related experience

    + OR equivalent experience.

    + 4+ years as an Adobe Experience Platform administrator, including managing and building complex inter-related workflows.

    Additional or preferred qualifications

    + Master's Degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, Finance, Engineering, or related field AND 5+ years of marketing operations, program management, project management, or related experience

    + OR Bachelor's Degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, Finance, Engineering, or related field AND 8+ years of marketing operations, program management, project management, or related experience

    + OR equivalent experience.

    + 3+ years technology/process improvement experience.

    + 8+ years of stakeholder management, including collecting and validating business requirements, delivering project updates, and handling expectations.

    + 8+ years managing integrations between Adobe Experience Platform and other systems, including via REST API and other programmatic interfaces.

    + 2+ years managing implementation and maintenance of Adobe WebSDK in a scaled global web environment.

    + 4+ years of relational database experience, including the understanding of basic data concepts such as primary vs. foreign keys, 1 to many vs. many to many, joins, and filters.

    + 4+ years of reporting experience using PowerBI, Tableau, or similar tool.

     

    Marketing Technology IC4 - The typical base pay range for this role across the U.S. is USD $106,400 - $203,600 per year. There is a different range applicable to specific work locations, within the San Francisco Bay area and New York City metropolitan area, and the base pay range for this role in those locations is USD $137,600 - $222,600 per year.
