    We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Power Systems Project Specialist to prepare accurate cost estimates for power system projects. The project specialist will evaluate project scope, analyze technical documents and specifications, and collaborate with Sales, Engineering, Operations and Procurement to ensure competitive and compliant bids.

    WHAT YOU'LL DO

    + Analyze customer inquiries, specifications, drawings, and other relevant documentation to understand project requirements for stationary electric power and rental power systems projects.

    + Develop comprehensive and accurate cost estimates for projects, including equipment, labor, materials, subcontractors, and other associated costs.

    + Prepare detailed and professional quotation documents, ensuring clarity, accuracy, and adherence to company pricing strategies.

    + Provide subject matter expertise and innovative approaches to differentiate the company’s power generation offerings.

    + Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Sales, Engineering, Operations, Procurement, and technical teams, to gather necessary information and shape winning solutions that are both feasible, profitable, and effectively address client needs in power generation.

    + Maintain a thorough understanding of product offerings, pricing structures, and industry standards within the power systems and rental power sectors.

    + Research and evaluate vendor pricing and lead times for equipment or other materials.

    + Manage and organize quotation records and documentation effectively.

    + Follow up on submitted quotations with the Sales team to answer questions and provide additional information as needed.

    + Identify potential risks and opportunities within project scopes and pricing.

    + Assist in the development and improvement of quoting processes and tools.

    + Contribute to sales forecasting and reporting activities.

    + Stay updated on new technologies, products, and industry trends related to power systems.

    WHAT YOU'LL NEED

    + Bachelor’s degree with relevant industry experience preferred or completion of a technical program in power systems with significant field experience.

    + Knowledge of/experience with CAT generator sets, Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS), and solar, including technical experience.

    + Previous experience with engineering, procurement, and construction (EPC) projects

    + Strong background and a solid understanding of power systems, cost estimation, and knowledge of industry standards.

    + Demonstrated exceptional soft skills and urgency when dealing with any requests relevant to this position.

    + Strong communication skills to include receiving, conveying, and interpreting information in written, verbal, and/or diagram form.
