**JOB SUMMARY** **:** MSIseeks an experiencedProject Manager tobe responsible forplanning and overseeing projects to ensure they are completed ina timelyfashion and within budget. Project Managers plan and designate project resources, prepare budgets,monitorprogress, and keep stakeholders informed the entire way.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
The essential functions include, but are not limited to, the following:
+ Exercises executive authority over the planning, direction, and control of a designated project.
+ Allocates and supervises theutilizationof material and personnel resources assigned to the project.
+ Reviews plans& specificationsfor project implementation.
+ Applies to the project intensified management techniques, procedures, and controls to endure compliance with contract and budget.
+ Review projectmanpowerrequirements with Operations Dept. and a regular basis.
+ Makes technical, personnel and business management decisions required by the project as authorized by his charter.
+ Works with general contractors and end-users to execute projects on time and under budget, witha high levelof quality.
+ Prepares job estimates,change-orders, and required documentation.
+ Conducts close liaison and coordination with vendors, the General Contractor, and other sub-contractors.
+ Reportsstatusof his project to company leadership on a recurring basis.
+ Maintainsafework environment on all projects.
+ Initiates monthly billing for jobs in process and develops a schedule of values forjobin conjunction withestimate.
+ Conducts bi-monthly safetymeetingon jobs.
+ Promote andparticipatein education and training opportunities that allow the company and its employees to meet stated goals,objectives, and business plans.
+ Participate in qualityassociationwith trade/business associations that enhance the company’s mission or business plan.
+ Maintain Customer Sales log.
Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications:
+ Graduate of two-year technical curriculum preferred.
+ A minimum of 5 years’ experience asmechanicalproject manager preferred.
+ A minimum of 2 years’ experience in estimating and bid preparation.
+ Medium to large project experiencea plus.
Knowledge,** **Skills** **and Abilities
+ In-depth knowledge of HVAC&R systems and relatedsupportingutilities.
+ Ability to read and understand plans & specifications.
+ Knowledge of local and industry codes that regulate the HVAC&R industry.
+ Ability to effectively manage and motivate employees.
+ Good Verbal and written communications skills.
+ Effective negotiator.
+ Computer Skills Excel
+ Microsoft Projects
+ Estimating Skills
+ Trade specific skills – technical, pipefitting, ductwork, etc.
