THE POSITION
Do not miss this unique opportunity to support Pennsylvania residents who attend schools authorized by the State Board of Private Licensed Schools - the Commonwealth's postsecondary proprietary occupational training providers. As a Higher Education Associate with our dedicated team, you will be responsible for facilitating the approval of specialized associate degrees. DESCRIPTION OF WORK
In this role, you will be responsible for carrying out the mandates of the Private Licensed Schools Act and for complex assignments in support of the State Board of Private Licensed Schools. Your assignments will include traveling across the state to conduct site visits, establishing review teams and facilitating degree application reviews, submitting applications to the Secretary of Education for elevation, and ensuring transcript submissions to the central repository. Our team will rely on you to evaluate school program applications, school financial stability, and school renewal and compliance audits, as well as present recommendations for policy improvements and assist in conducting training and seminars. Work Schedule and Additional Information:
+ Full-time employment
+ Work hours are 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM, Monday - Friday, with a 30-minute lunch.
+ Telework:You may have the opportunity to work from home (telework) part-time, up to three days per week. In order to telework, you must have a securely configured high-speed internet connection and work from an approved location inside Pennsylvania. If you are unable to telework, you will have the option to report to the headquarters office in Harrisburg, PA. The ability to telework is subject to change at any time. Additional details may be provided during the interview.

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE, TRAINING & ELIGIBILITY
QUALIFICATIONS
Minimum Experience and Training Requirements:
+ One year as a Higher Education Associate 1 in the parenthetical;or
+ Four years of professional education experience, including two years in higher education for the Higher Education parenthetical and two years in basic education for the Teacher Education parenthetical and a master's degree;or
+ An equivalent combination of experience and training that includes three years of professional education experience including two years in higher education for the Higher Education parenthetical and two years in basic education for the Teacher Education parenthetical..
