Currently looking to hire an experience **Purchasing Coordinator** to join their team! _Ideal candidates will have a solid work history and a track record of teamwork, learning and getting results!_
**Hours** : 8a-5p M-F
**Salary** : $77-86K (direct hire/full time)
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
+ Determines the need for any product-based related orders and enters them accordingly for all facilities.
+ Ensures all facilities have sufficient product to meet demand.
+ Oversees receiving of all product-based related materials into the internal inventory database. (Deacom)
+ Collaborates with other functions to meet current and future inventory requirements and manage inventory levels.
+ Monitors performance and expedite responses to changes in demand or disruptions in the supply chain.
+ Collaborates with sales, customer service, and logistics departments to maximize efficiency’s in purchasing and inventory control.
+ Develops and maintains inventory databases for suppliers and materials used.
+ Maintains knowledge of trends, prices, buyers, and delivery conditions to anticipate future material availability; directs purchasing programs accordingly.
+ Assists with tracking of purchases, monitoring of vendor quality, and maintaining a current database of vendor information.
+ Performs auditing processes to ensure procurement and recordkeeping comply with any applicable industry or governmental regulations.
+ Performs other duties as assigned.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
+ Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
+ Requires 3 to 7 years of related experience.
+ Must be able to work independently and collaboratively in nature.
+ Thorough understanding of purchasing procedures and policies.
+ Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
+ Ability to read, interpret, and explain policies and procedures used in purchasing.
+ Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
+ Proficient with the Microsoft Suite or related software
+ Willingness to travel.
