    We’re looking for a curious and motivated **Junior Chemist** to help develop the next generation of high-performance industrial lubricants. In this hands-on R&D role, you’ll blend, test, and analyze new formulations that keep industries moving efficiently.     **Pay** : $23.33/hr

    **Schedule** : 1 st shift

    **Type of Job** : Contract 1 year

    **Location** : Houston, TX

    Junior Chemist – Industrial Lubricants R&D Daily Tasks: What you will do:

    + Blend, prepare, and test new industrial lubricant formulations.

    + Support R&D projects focused on innovation and product improvement.

    + Conduct physical and performance tests (e.g., viscosity, flash point, pour point, oxidation stability, wear tests).

    + Operate and maintain testing equipment (viscometers, Four Ball, Pin & Vee Block, etc.).

    + Record, analyze, and interpret laboratory data.

    + Prepare technical reports and summaries of findings to support R&D decisions.

    + Work closely with senior chemists and cross-functional teams on formulation improvement.

    + Participate in brainstorming and troubleshooting sessions for new lubricant technologies.

    + Follow all lab safety protocols and adhere to industry standards (ASTM, DIN).

    Junior Chemist – Industrial Lubricants R&D Qualifications/Requirements:

    + Bachelor’s in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, or related field.

    + 0–2 years of hands-on lab experience in lubricant formulation or R&D testing.

    + Demonstrates curiosity, initiative, and problem-solving in applied chemistry research.

    + Interested in developing next-generation industrial lubricants through experimentation and innovation.
