    Job Description Summary

    Responsible to develop and maintain integrated project schedules for a medium portfolio of projects to support project reporting and on time delivery analysis which complies with Customer requirements and adheres to internal processes and standards.

     

    Responsible to support continuous improvement of Project Control, Planning & Scheduling processes and developing/maintaining KPIs & critical path analysis for complex EO & EEP projects or TK Projects where partner is leader.

    + Ensures understanding of ITO L1 bid schedule and contract details as received by ITO team.

    + Attends release meetings led by ITO to understand project scope, ITO assumptions, and contribute to Delivery Matrix development.

    + Understands and confirms ITO assumptions & risk summary is clearly understood, provided during ITO/OTR handoff.

    + Attends CKOM & follows up on open action items from the CKOM related to schedule execution if needed.

    + Develops the Commitment Meeting file based on functional inputs, project requirements and contract requirements.

    + Leads the Commitment Meeting with functional owners to resolve initial schedule disconnects and reach agreement on the project baseline.

    + Sets up integrated project schedule (including L3/L2 and S curves) baseline working with internal GEV team and in alignment with Global Project Control, Planning and Scheduling processes.

    + Ensures schedules accurately reflect project scope and execution strategy.

    + Continuously monitors project on time delivery performance to ensure knowledge of main issues and how issues are being mitigated.

    + Proactively monitors project schedule to highlight slippages, inaccurate data causing erroneous forecasts/reporting and identifies corrective actions and action owner to resolve issues.

    + Update project schedule based on inputs from GEV team to ensure project schedule accurately reflects the project status.

    + Performs schedule analysis on weekly/monthly basis to identify the critical impacts and provide the mitigations suggestions.

    + Ensures project schedule updates and KPIs are reflected in various tools (example: Planner Dashboard, OTD Tracker , Pulse & WIPT)

    + Works with project team to identify mitigation strategies and ensure strategies are reflected in project schedule.

    + Escalates critical project issues to the Internal Project Manager and project team.

    + Ensures reports for other functions and customers accurately reflect status of project equipment and provide to customer and business reporting.

    + Communicates to functions impact of execution strategy changes and resulting changes to required dates.

    + Acts as a resource for project team members and supports with data, analysis, and root causes of schedule variances.

    + Uses some judgement and has some ability to propose different solutions to address more complicated project scenarios.

    + Performs the critical path analysis for deliverables and ensures no impact to contract dates.

    + Performs delay analysis to support extension of time and cost claims.

    Continuous Improvement and Tool Administration

    + Leverages experience to participate in discussions and provide feedback to improve processes and tools for the Planning team.

    Required Qualifications

    + Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or college.

    + Minimum 5 years of experience in Project Control Planning & Scheduling function within an EPC environment.

    + Expertise of Primavera P6.

    + Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

    + Resilient and ability to work under pressure

    + Fluency in written and spoken English

    Desired Characteristics

    + Established project management skills.

    + Demonstrated competency with Microsoft Office tools.

    + Experience with material ship direct equipment in the Gas Power business.

    + Strong analytical skills with demonstrated ability to synthesize large quantities of data into key messages.

    + Demonstrated ability to multi-task while maintaining a high attention to detail.

    + Demonstrated ability to deliver while handling large numbers of diverse tasks.

    + Demonstrated ability to analyze and resolve problems.

    + Demonstrated ability to adapt to changes in processes or tools.

    + Strong interpersonal and leadership skills, successfully navigating in a matrix environment.

    + Experience in Extension of time claims / forensic planning.

    + Knowledge of power plant principles and work processes of EPC environments.

    + Experience of working with international teams and complex environment and open for travel.

    + Experience in Site Scheduling.

    + Experience in resource loading in P6 schedules.

     

    The base pay range for this position is 100,000.00 - 166,700.00 USD Annual. The specific pay offered may be influenced by a variety of factors, including the candidate’s experience, education, and skill set. This position is also eligible for variable incentive compensation/equity.
