Major/Essential Functions:
The Senior Service Worker will play a vital role in supporting the daily operations and upkeep of the Womble Football Center, practice fields, Sports Performance Center (SPC), and other football-related facilities. This position assists in ensuring that all football facilities are clean, secure, and well-maintained.
Facility Cleanliness & Appearance
+ Perform routine upkeep tasks such as painting, touch-ups, and general appearance improvements. Find and make repairs as necessary.
+ Assist with preventative maintenance and minor repair needs.
+ Monitor facility conditions, promptly reporting any damages, hazards, or issues requiring higher-level intervention.
+ Support preparation and readiness of facilities for practices, workouts, and special events.
+ Maintain a high standard of cleanliness across all football facilities, including common areas, locker rooms, and offices. Clean, empty trash, etc. Clean floors.
Security & Safety
+ Ensure facilities are properly secured during and after hours.
+ Monitor access to football buildings and practice areas to maintain a safe environment for student-athletes, staff, and visitors.
Operational Support
+ Assist in the daily operational needs of football facilities, including field upkeep and event preparation.
+ Provide additional support during periods of high activity, such as game days, recruiting events, or team functions. To include table, chair set-ups, event preparation, etc.
+ Collaborate with the Football Facilities Manager and Athletics staff to uphold the overall standard of excellence expected of Texas Tech Athletics.
