About the Role

As a **QA Manager – Computer System Validation (CSV)** , you will make an impact by leading the quality assurance and validation efforts for critical Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES) and Computer System Validation (CSV) initiatives. You will be a valued member of the QA leadership team and work collaboratively with cross-functional stakeholders to ensure compliance, quality, and efficiency across the software development lifecycle.

In this role, you will:

• Develop and implement comprehensive test strategies aligned with project goals and regulatory requirements

• Oversee execution of test plans ensuring functional and non-functional requirements are met

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and resolve defects

• Leverage CSV expertise to enhance testing efficiency and ensure compliance

• Monitor and report on test progress, quality metrics, and continuous improvement opportunities

• Ensure regulatory compliance within the MES domain

• Utilize advanced testing tools and methodologies to optimize test coverage

• Mentor junior testers and foster a culture of quality

• Coordinate with stakeholders to align testing deliverables with business goals

• Manage test environments and data integrity

• Drive innovation in testing processes, including AI agent adoption

• Facilitate communication between technical and non-technical teams

• Evaluate and implement automated testing solutions

What you need to have to be considered

• 16–18 years of experience in software testing and quality assurance

• Strong background in **Computer System Validation (CSV)**

• Expertise in **Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES)**

• Excellent analytical and strategic thinking skills

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills

• Relevant certification in software testing or QA (e.g., ISTQB, CSTE)

• Proven track record of delivering high-quality testing outcomes in hybrid environments

These will help you stand out

• Experience with AI-driven testing tools and methodologies

• Demonstrated leadership in managing complex validation projects

• Familiarity with automated testing frameworks

• Ability to drive innovation and continuous improvement in QA processes

Salary and Other Compensation

Applications will be accepted until November 5th, 2025.

The annual salary for this position is between $83,250 to $131,500, depending on experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.

This position is also eligible for Cognizant’s discretionary annual incentive program, based on performance and subject to the terms of Cognizant’s applicable plans.
