    _Senior iOS Developer (Hybrid)_

     

    About the role

     

    Develop iOS client code solutions that deliver on Product Strategy and adhere to established engineering best practices, design guidelines and principles· Partner with Software Engineers, UX/UI, Quality Engineers, Product Owners/Analysts to deliver high performing quality customer experiences that are engaging, purposeful and powerful in their simplicity

    In this Role you will:

    + Designing and developing Enterprise Mobile Solution using iOS and Swift.

    + Work on developing and deploy Native mobile applications.

    + Testing and debugging applications.

    + Develop UI and Unit test cases

    + Work on CICD pipelines

    + Work on Accessibility and make it compatible.

    + Effective Client communication

    + Actively participate in all team agile ceremonies, contributing to ensure that all team commitments are delivered on time and of the highest quality

    + Remain an active learner in all technologies related to mobile development (Kotlin, Swift 3rd party libraries, etc.)

    + Influence and contribute to group discussions and incorporate feedback/communication from the broader team

    + Actively engage with developers outside of the local sprint team across various disciplines (Android, iOS, APIs, Web, etc.)

    + Own and lead delivery of major components and platform needs in partnership with senior engineers and Architects

    + Consistently share best practices and improve processes within and across sprint teams

    + Identify technical obstacles early and work closely with the team to find creative solutions

    + Review pull requests and ensure adherence to Swift and other language idioms

    **Work model** : Hybrid

    **Location** : Richmond - VA

Based on this role’s business requirements, this is a hybrid position requiring 4 days a week in a client office in Richmond - VA.     What you need to have to be considered:

    + Bachelor’s Degree

    + At least 4 years of experience in software engineering

    + At least 2 years of experience building iOS applications

    + At least 2 years of experience with Swift

    These will help you stand out** **:

    + Master’s Degree

    + 3+ years of experience building iOS applications

    + 3+ years of experience with Swift

    + 1+ years of experience in open source frameworks

    + 1+ years of experience with Agile Technologies

    Salary and Other Compensation:

    The annual salary for this position is between **$68K – $125K depending on experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.**

     

    This position is also eligible for Cognizant’s discretionary annual incentive program, based on performance and subject to the terms of Cognizant’s applicable plans.
