13597BRJob Description:United States Steel is hiring a Recruiting Support Specialist to assist with talent acquisition and contingent worker processes. This position offers candidates practical experience in these areas.
Responsibilities:
+ Sourcing Candidates: Manage and oversee full life cycle recruitment for various locations.
+ Contingent Worker Program: managing contingent worker program including scheduling interviews, entering requisitions into Beeline, invoicing, and supplier relations.
+ Agency: manage and maintain agency submittals for various requisitions
+ Screening Candidates: Review resumes, cover letters, and other application materials to assess qualifications and suitability for the position. Also conduct initial interviews to evaluate candidates' skills, experience, and cultural fit.
+ Managing Recruitment Process: Schedule interviews, coordinate with hiring managers, and provide timely updates to candidates. Train hiring managers on career fair attendance
+ Building Talent Pools: Proactively identifying and attracting qualified candidates by attending both on-line and on-site career fairs, networking events, and other university- related activities, posting and reviewing active applications.
+ Employer Branding: Play a key role in promoting the employer brand and enhancing the organization's reputation as an employer of choice. This may include activities such as attending career fairs, various professional organizations, college alumni events, etc.
+ Documentation: Maintain accurate records of candidate interactions, interview notes, and hiring decisions.
+ Continuous Improvement: Regularly evaluate and improve recruitment strategies and processes to attract top talent more effectively. Utilize recruitment metrics and receive feedback to identify areas for improvement.
+ Candidate Experience: Strive to provide a positive experience for all candidates, regardless of the outcome of their application. Offer timely communication and support throughout the recruitment journey.
+ Technology Utilization: Leverage various recruiting tools and technologies such as applicant tracking systems (ATS), job boards, and sourcing platforms to streamline the recruitment process and enhance efficiency.
Minimum Qualifications:
+ Education: Bachelor’s degree in human resources, Business Administration, or in a related field.
+ Experience: 2+ years of recruiting experience; university relations experience is a plus
+ Communication Skills: Strong verbal and written communication skills are essential.
+ Interpersonal Skills: The ability to build rapport and establish relationships with candidates and stakeholders is crucial.
+ Organization: Excellent organizational skills are necessary to manage multiple candidates and job openings simultaneously.
+ Attention to Detail: Attention to detail is critical for reviewing resumes, scheduling interviews, and ensuring accuracy in all recruitment processes.
+ Problem-Solving: The ability to quickly identify issues and implement solutions is important in the dynamic environment of recruitment.
+ Adaptability: Recruitment priorities and strategies may change, so adaptability and flexibility are valuable traits.
+ Ethics and Integrity: Upholding ethical standards and maintaining confidentiality throughout the recruitment process is essential.
The salary for this role is $63,478. This base salary range is a good faith estimate. Based on candidate skills/experience the final offer may be lower/higher.
