    Job Summary

    Job Duties

    The Department of General Surgery at Geisinger, a national leader in quality, innovation, research and education, is seeking a BC/BE Breast Surgeon at Geisinger Medical Center in Danville, Pennsylvania

    Comprehensive Breast Health Program:

    + Onsite radiologists, pathologists, breast and plastic surgeons, psychologists, geneticists, nurse navigators, and a high-risk clinic

    + ACR-accredited Breast Imaging Center of Excellence

    + Blocked OR and clinic time

    + Advanced Imaging Technology:

    + 3D HD screening and diagnostic mammography

    + Multimodality breast interventions including upright tomographic, ultrasound, and MRI-guided biopsies

    + Fully integrated electronic health record (Epic)

    + Academic & Research Opportunities:

    + Opportunity to teach our residents and medical school students
