Speech-Language Pathologist (CCC-SLP) | $68/hr | Chicago, IL | Elementary | ASAP–June 2026

Amergis Educational Staffing is seeking two full-time Speech-Language Pathologists (CCC-SLP) to support elementary-aged students across multiple school sites in the Chicago, IL area. Both positions are in-person and begin ASAP, continuing through June 9, 2026.

Position Overview

+ Role: Speech-Language Pathologist (CCC-SLP)

+ Grade Level: Elementary

+ Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–3:00 PM

+ Hours: 35 paid hours/week

+ Start Date: ASAP (Estimated: 10/27/2025)

+ End Date: June 9, 2026

+ Location: Chicago, IL

+ Interview Format: Google Meets (virtual)

+ Openings: 2

Compensation

+ Pay Rate: $68/hour

Position Details

+ Position 1:

+ Serving multiple campuses in the Chicago area

+ Initial assignment includes maternity leave coverage through February, then reassignment to another campus

+ Position 2:

+ Serving two campuses on the South Side of Chicago

Responsibilities

+ Conduct student evaluations and develop individualized therapy plans

+ Provide direct speech and language services

+ Document services in alignment with care plans and physician orders

+ Collaborate with educators and support staff

+ Maintain compliance with district, state, and federal guidelines

Qualifications

+ Active Illinois SLP license required

+ CCC-SLP certification preferred and may be required

+ Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology

+ School-based experience preferred

+ Must meet all federal, state, and local employment requirements

+ CPR certification, TB clearance, and health certificate as applicable

+ Must be at least 18 years of age
