    Special Education Teacher | $45/hr | Middle School | Kenosha, WI | ASAP–End of School Year

     

    Amergis Educational Staffing is seeking two full-time Special Education Teachers to support middle school students in the Kenosha, WI area. This in-person assignment begins ASAP and runs through the end of the school year.

    Position Overview

    + Role: Special Education Teacher

    + Grade Level: Middle School

    + Setting: Public middle schools in the Kenosha area

    + Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–4:00 PM

    + Hours: 40/week

    + Start Date: ASAP (Estimated: 11/10/2025)

    + Duration: Through the end of the school year

    + Location: Kenosha, WI

    + Openings: 2

    Compensation

    + Pay Rate: $45/hour

    Responsibilities

    + Provide direct instruction and support to students with IEPs

    + Collaborate with general education staff to implement student programs

    + Participate in IEP development, meetings, and progress monitoring

    + Deliver tutorial assistance and behavioral support as needed

    + Maintain accurate documentation and compliance with district standards

    Qualifications

    + Valid Wisconsin DPI teaching license or one in progress

    + Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university preferred

    + Minimum one year of teaching experience preferred

    + Endorsements in Standard Elementary, Secondary, or Special Teaching preferred

    + LBS1 endorsement preferred

    + Must meet all federal, state, and local employment requirements

    + CPR, TB clearance, and health certificate as applicable

    + Must be at least 18 years of age
