Position Overview:
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated 1:1 Support Aide to work with an Exceptional Children (EC) student in a school setting. This role involves supporting a student with severe/profound disabilities and requires a strong commitment to safety, care, and collaboration.
Key Responsibilities:
+ Provide direct 1:1 support to an EC student
+ Assist with toileting/diapering, mobility, and behavioral safety
+ Collaborate with teachers, therapists, and other staff
+ Maintain a positive and patient attitude in a dynamic environment
Required Qualifications:
+ Prior experience as a support aide, behavioral technician, or in 1:1 autism care
+ Experience working with children with special needs, preferably in a school setting
+ CPI certification preferred
+ Passion for working with children
+ Strong teamwork and communication skills
+ Servant leadership mindset
