Required Qualifications: Applicants must specifically address how they meet these required qualifications to meet the requirements of the position.
+ 2+ years of experience in facilities maintenance, custodial, or grounds services.
+ Demonstrated ability to perform detail-oriented work with a high degree of accuracy.
+ Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
+ Strong customer service skills with the ability to work across diverse stakeholders.
+ Intermediate or higher proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
+ Experience building reports, data entry, and using digital tools to document work.
Preferred Qualifications
+ Associate’s or bachelor’s degree in Facilities Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
+ Experience performing quality assurance or quality control activities.
+ Experience supporting continuous process improvement initiatives.
+ Experience working in a higher education environment and collaborating across multiple departments or service areas.
+ Experience with Enterprise Resource Planning ( ERP ) systems, including SAP .
+ Experience with Integrated Workplace Management Systems ( IWMS ) or Computerized Maintenance Management Systems ( CMMS ), preferably AiM by AssetWorks.
+ Proficiency with data visualization and reporting tools (e.g., PowerBI, advanced Excel).
Job Description
The Quality Assurance (QA) Specialist will coordinate the activities of a program, project, team, and/or area within a department.
Job Duties
+ Conduct inspections and quality assurance reviews of facilities, and custodial.
+ Document findings and track corrective actions using ERP , IWMS , or CMMS software.
+ Provide feedback to service providers and escalate unresolved service deficiencies when needed.
+ Deliver outstanding customer service by exercising sound judgment in responding to requests and observations, ensuring timely follow-up with responsible parties.
+ Collect, enter, and analyze service data to identify trends and opportunities for improvement.
+ Prepare recurring reports and dashboards, presenting recommendations to leadership.
+ Support continuous process improvement initiatives and compliance with internal standards.
+ Collaborate across multiple departments to align service delivery with organizational needs.
+ Perform other duties as assigned.
