Amentum is seeking a **Senior** **IT Program Manager** to join our team of passionate individuals in **Chantilly, VA** . In this role you will support challenging, mission-critical projects that make a direct impact on the Nation’s security and intelligence mission.

     

    This mission essential program performs continuous integration of multiple software applications while supporting the integration and maintenance of both new and modern mission capabilities using the Agile software development lifecycle. The development team uses the Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe) release train methodology and Continuous Integration/ Continuous Delivery (CI/CD) pipeline. Lead with a Cloud First approach. Provides OCONUS support.

    Responsibilities:

    • **Function** : Responsible for a key administrative function. With management, makes recommendations and implementations of significant programs, and serves as technical expert in the field.

    • **Duties** : Directs, manages, and administers business areas of expertise. Directs special projects; prepares reports analyzing situations, and makes recommendations. Constantly evaluates policies and procedures, and makes recommendations as appropriate. As technical specialist in the field, continually assesses programs and provides advice and recommendations to higher levels of management.

     

    You will have the opportunity to work side-by-side with government leadership. You will be leading and managing a multi-contractor team to ensure cost, schedule, expectations, and deadlines are met. You will build an open, strong relationship with the government CO, COTR, technical leads, stakeholders to ensure success.

    Requirements:

    • 16+ Years of Experience

    • Proven experience with software and hardware integration

    • Experience with AWS cloud services and cloud migration

    • Experience with Agile software development

    • Ability to lead a team, work collaboratively with a multi-contractor team, government CO, COTR, clients

    Clearance Required:

    • TS/SCI with Polygraph

    Minimum Education:

    • BA or BS; BS in technology field preferred

    • MS (such as CS, MIS, MBA, etc.) reduces years of experience to 13 years

    Minimum Years of Experience:

    • 16+ years

    Preferred:

    • PMP

    • AWS Cloud Practitioner or other Cloud Certifications

    • Certified SCRUM Master
