SECURITY FOREMAN
As a Security Foreman, you will be the on-site leader who transforms blueprints and specifications into fully operational security systems from access control and video management to electrified locking hardware and system programming. You will collaborate closely with general contractors, supervisors, customers, and skilled crews, ensuring projects are executed safely, efficiently, and to the highest standard of quality.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES:
+ Enforce and model strict adherence to all company safety policies and procedures
+ This role will require infrequent travel; details will vary based on project or client needs
+ Lead and oversee crews while ensuring productivity, quality, and safety on the jobsite
+ Interpret blueprints, specifications, and scope changes to deliver accurate and timely project execution.
+ Coordinate and communicate with general contractors, supervisors, customers, and other trades.
+ Plan, organize, and forecast jobsite needs in advance to maximize efficiency
+ Install, program, and commission access control, video management systems, electrified locking hardware, and ancillary field devices
+ Build panels that are clean, organized, and properly labeled
+ Create accurate As-Built markups and maintain clear project documentation
+ Provide daily project updates, debriefings, and safety compliance reporting to superintendents and project managers
+ Support crews and management before and after hours for critical project or personnel needs
+ Ensure completion of weekly Paycom safety training, logs, and documentation
+ Lead commissioning and testing efforts alongside the superintendent
+ Attend in-house training
+ Work overtime and/or irregular business hours as requested
+ Run all Low-Voltage projects including Structured Cabling, Fiber, Audio and Visual
+ Performs other duties as assigned
KEY QUALIFICATIONS:
+ 3–5 years of experience in the security industry, capable of independently managing projects
+ Valid Colorado Driver’s License
+ Access Control and Video certifications (Lenel or Milestone required)
+ OSHA 30 certification or willingness to obtain
+ Proficient in installing, programming, and troubleshooting access control, video management, and integrated security systems
+ Strong technical knowledge of RS-485 communications, wiring, and diagnostics
+ Familiar with IBC Chapter 10 building codes and their practical application
+ Working knowledge of networking fundamentals and Microsoft Office (especially Excel)
+ Experience tracking project costs and progress
+ Skilled in leading, mentoring, and motivating field crews
+ Excellent verbal and written communication with contractors, supervisors, and clients
+ Organized, self-directed, and adaptable to changing priorities
+ Detail-oriented; follows checklists, testing steps, and procedures to ensure quality
+ Able to balance independent work and team collaboration
+ Experienced in structured cabling, fiber, and audio-visual systems
+ Strong problem-solving skills; performs well under pressure
+ Travel as needed
+ Able to work extended hours as needed
+ Physical activity required for role
+ Work outside in a range of weather conditions, including hot and cold weather
+ Standing and walking for extended periods on uneven surfaces
+ Repeated motions such as kneeling, climbing, crouching, crawling, reaching
+ Repeatedly lifting loads up to 50 pounds overhead
+ Move about, in, and around construction vehicles
+ Good vision (either normal or corrected) and good balance
+ Manual dexterity to operate vehicles and use hand and power tools
+ Work from heights of up to 50 ft, including on ladders, lifts, elevated platforms, scaffolds, aerial lifts, catwalks, or other safe work areas
+ Work as needed in tight spaces, including in manholes, utility tunnels, crawl spaces, and attics
+ May need to drive or ride in vehicles for long distances to reach job site
+ Pass Pre-Employment drug screen and background check
