    _Regular, full-time position with the option of 5 8-hour shifts or 4 10's | Shifts will be weekdays with no night or weekend shift potential_

     

    _Pay will start between $37 - $40 per hour, depending on experience_

    _Weekly earned wage access is an option for this position_

    **Job Purpose or Objective(s):** The Occupational Therapist evaluates task performance skills and designs programs to restore the patient’s abilities. You will provide patient education regarding occupational therapy treatment procedures and maintain documentation of plans and progress. You will report to the Manager.

    Primary Tasks:

    1. Complete comprehensive evaluation to determine plan of care.

    2. Direct patients through treatment and provide education and planning to assist in patient’s goals.

    3. Promote successful participation in daily occupations using individualized treatment interventions to restore function, compensate for deficit, remediate deficits, and prevent further impairments.

    4. Provide interventions using therapeutic activities, exercises, education, and training.

    5. Identify needed adaptive equipment, DME, and orthotics; initiate acquisition of the items.

    6. Habilitate patients with congenital and developmental delays.

    7. Provide training to facility and clinic staff in areas pertaining to occupational therapy.

    8. Oversee occupational therapy assistants, students, and office personnel to ensure quality patient care and therapy services.

    9. Complete patient documentation within the electronic health record.

    10. Perform other responsibilities as may be assigned.

    Required Education, Skills and Experience:

    + Graduate of an accredited school of Occupational Therapy with degree as an Occupational Therapist

    + Occupational Therapist licensure in the state of Oklahoma OR License in any US state for Commissioned Corps applicants with one year to obtain Oklahoma licensure

    + BLS certification within 90 days of employment

    + Basic understanding of adaptive equipment, DME, and orthotics

    + Basic understanding of pediatrics
