Job Description

A client in the Nashville, TN area is looking for a Fund manager to join their team. This leader will support the Private Alternatives Financial Control team, overseeing pooled investment vehicles across private equity, private credit, and private debt. While this role has no direct reports, it involves guiding and supporting team members and may evolve into a managerial position.

-Oversee audit and tax teams, managing inquiries and coordinating responses with external vendors.

-Review quarterly and annual financial statements, working closely with auditors to ensure accuracy and sign-off.

-Provide direction and support to Fund Administration Analysts, ensuring deliverables are met and internal standards upheld.

-Collaborate with internal stakeholders and senior-level contacts across departments.

-Contribute to process improvements and assist with special projects as needed.

Skills and Requirements

-Previous Management, Team Lead, or Supervisor experience in fund administration or accounting.

-Private equity or private credit experience.

-Experience managing external vendors such as audit and tax firms.

-NAV calculations experience

-Financial reporting, regulatory reporting, and/or tax reporting experience.

-Exposure to financial reporting processes, including reviewing quarterly statements (e.g., 10-Qs) and annual reports.

-Comfortable interacting with senior-level stakeholders

-Local to Nashville, TN or open to relocating and being on a hybrid schedule (4 days in office). - Familiarity with tax concepts
