Job Description
We are looking for an experienced and detail-oriented E-Commerce and Marketing Photo Retoucher to join a team on a temporary basis. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of e-commerce image editing, color correction, and retouching, as well as familiarity with lifestyle photography. You will play a key role in enhancing our visual content and ensuring all images meet the highest standards for online marketing and product representation.
Key Responsibilities:
• Photo Retouching: Edit, color correct, and retouch e-commerce product images to ensure high-quality and consistent presentation across our website and marketing materials.
• Lifestyle Image Retouching: Work on lifestyle images, ensuring proper retouching and enhancement that aligns with brand aesthetics.
• File Management: Download images from the clipping service and manage files for processing and archiving on our digital DAM and server.
• Image Processing: Prepare high-resolution images for website uploads, ensuring proper formatting, size, and color accuracy.
• Content Uploads: Upload and update product images to the website via FTP, ensuring accuracy and timely delivery.
• Spreadsheets & Data Management: Update and maintain spreadsheets for image tracking, processing status, and archive management.
• Problem Solving: Identify and resolve any issues related to image quality, processing errors, or file discrepancies, proactively mitigating potential problems.
• Collaboration: Work closely with studio teams to ensure images align with branding, campaigns, and product listings.

Skills and Requirements
• Proven experience in photo retouching, preferably in an e-commerce or marketing setting.
• Expertise in image editing with Adobe Photoshop.
• Strong attention to detail and the ability to produce high-quality, polished images.
• Solid understanding of e-commerce image requirements, including color correction, product retouching, and web optimization.
• Familiarity with FTP systems for image uploading and management.
• Experience working with lifestyle photography, including portrait and environmental shots, and ability to match the brand’s aesthetic.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
• Problem-solving mindset with a proactive approach to handling challenges.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate effectively with teams.
• Expert Level proficiency in Adobe Photoshop.
• Knowledge of color correction, masking, compositing and batch processing techniques.
• Highly proficient in Microsoft Excel or Google Sheets.
• Able to take direction and independently execute projects from start to finish while maintaining high standards of quality and consistency
• Detail-Driven with meticulous retouching precision and consistent image quality.
• Excels at managing large volumes of files and maintaining structured digital archives.
• Quickly identifies inconsistencies or technical issues and proactively finds solutions.
• Communicates effectively with studio photographers, designers, and web teams.
• Can handle shifting priorities and tight deadlines in a fast-paced production environment.
• Understands visual brand standards and ensures all images align with the company’s aesthetic.
• Able to anticipate needs and take initiative.
• Proven record of adapting to new systems and processes. • Familiarity with Salesforce Creative Cloud.
• Experience in a fast-paced e-commerce environment.
