    Job Description

    This role is responsible for leading the implementation, administration, and long-term governance of the Xyleme Learning Content Management System (LCMS) to support enterprise-wide training initiatives. The position will serve as the system owner and subject matter expert, ensuring scalable, efficient, and accessible content delivery across North America and beyond.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • System Implementation & Ownership

     

    o Lead the setup and deployment of Xyleme LCMS, including integration with SuccessFactors LMS and ISN contractor platform.

     

    o Define and coordinate system requirements, guidelines, and governance from the ground up.

     

    o Serve as the primary point of contact for instructional design, content housing, and future scalability.

     

    • Administration & Maintenance

     

    o Manage system updates, user provisioning, permissions, and integrations with enterprise platforms.

     

    o Provide Tier 3 technical support and collaborate with instructional designers, SMEs, IT, and vendors.

     

    • Content Management & Delivery

     

    o Oversee end-to-end content workflows: imports, exports, translations, versioning, publishing.

     

    o Migrate existing training content from SharePoint and other platforms into Xyleme.

     

    o Ensure structured authoring and delivery via the Content Delivery System (CDS).

     

    o Broadcast content for consumption via link-based access.

     

    • Governance & Quality Assurance

     

    o Develop and enforce metadata schemas, taxonomy structures, content models, and style guides.

     

    o Ensure content quality, accessibility, and compliance with standards.

     

    o Conduct QA testing and user experience evaluations; recommend system enhancements.

     

    • Strategic Content Development

     

    o Build out training content for Health & Safety, HR policies, and other enterprise functions.

     

    o Support reuse of content through metadata tagging and structured authoring.

     

    o Streamline content creation and review processes to eliminate reliance on static documents.

     

    • Reporting & Scalability

     

    o Coordinate reporting on existing content, updates, and system usage.

     

    o Scale content delivery and governance across regions and departments.

    Skills and Requirements

    • Bachelor’s degree in Instructional Technology, Information Technology, or related field (preferred).

    • Minimum 2 years of experience in LCMS/LMS administration (Xyleme experience preferred).

    • Strong understanding of learning content standards (SCORM, xAPI, AICC, XML, HTML5, CSS, XLIFF).

    • Proficiency with content development tools (Articulate 360, Adobe Creative Cloud, Microsoft Office Suite).

    • Experience with structured authoring, metadata tagging, and content governance.

    • Excellent communication, analytical, and project management skills.

    • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, agile environment.

    • Preferred: Technical proficiency in JavaScript, JSON, SQL; experience with Power BI, APIs, Azure DevOps, SharePoint, video platforms, and AI-driven content creation tools.
