Job Description

Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Python Developer to support the ongoing development and expansion of a cutting-edge, on-demand network testing tool. This tool is critical in validating all eligible FIA (Fiber Internet Access) and E-Line circuits through a series of automated processes. With nationwide deployment already in place, this role focuses on increasing the tool’s coverage by integrating additional vendor-specific devices via Python-based connectors.

Responsibilities:

-Develop and implement Python connectors tailored to various network vendors to enhance the eligibility of network circuits for automated testing

-Collaborate with backend and frontend teams to support the evolution of the testing platform

-Work within a distributed architecture using Django, Celery, and other asynchronous tasking tools

-Assist in migrating the frontend framework from AngularJS to React to improve UI performance and maintainability

-Participate in testing, debugging, and deploying updates to production systems

-Contribute to documentation and best practices for continued platform scalability

-Minimum of 5+ years of Python development

-API integration

-React -Experience working with network automation tools or telecom environments is a strong advantage

-Effective communication skills and the ability to collaborate in a fast-paced team environment

Local to Austin, TX

Compensation: $35-45/hr

**Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including skills, experience, and education.
