    Fortune 500 client in the Financial Services/FinTech sector is looking to hire a talented Golang Software Engineer to join their growing team. This Engineer will be joining a highly collaborative team and will have the chance to work on cutting-edge projects in an Agile environment. This team develops full-scope customer-centric web applications using modern and emerging technology stacks and supports a key revenue-driving and highly visible microservices-cloud-based platform. To be successful in this role, the engineer should be interested/excited to work with Go/Golang in a cloud/microservices environment.

    Skills and Requirements

    - 2+ years of professional Golang Development experience. Ideally having experience with GRPC, channels, goroutines and concurrency,

     

    - Experience working with with containerized applications, docker images, and developing in cloud environments.

     

    - Experience working with a combination of both SQL and NoSQL databases.

     

    - Experience working with distributed/large systems or prior experience working with scale/scalability and performance.

     

    - Four year degree in Computer Science or similar field. - Experience developing in GCP environments.

     

    - Experience working with Spanner or Bigtable.
