Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Resident Construction Engineer to oversee transportation infrastructure projects across South Carolina. This role will serve as the primary liaison between contractors, consultants, and the South Carolina Department of Transportation (SCDOT), ensuring that construction activities meet design specifications, quality standards, and regulatory requirements.

Skills and Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or related field.

• Professional Engineer (PE) license in the State of South Carolina (or be able to obtain within 6 months)

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in transportation engineering and project management.

Strong technical knowledge of roadway construction, materials testing, and SCDOT standards. • SCDOT CEMT Certification

Experience mentoring junior engineers and managing multidisciplinary teams.
