    Job Description

    Our Healthcare Insurance Client is looking to hire a Product Manager for a multi-year contract. This person will be part of our Professional Services Organization that has been hired for a Product Transformation and Acceleration Program. We are looking for Product Managers that embody Marty Cagan's Product Operating Model. Our client has little to no knowledge and we have been hired to help transform them into a Product Organization. This team is part of Shared Services and needs a centralized Product Model. This team has varying levels of maturity.

     

    Our client is not aligned to the Product Model and has little to no knowledge of this. The towers outside of the Digital Organization (sub division within the larger Technology Division) are engineering-centric and do not have existing Product Management staff aligned to business processes in scope for these products. Transforming to a Product Model is one of the Technology Organizations roadmap priorities and they are not where they need to be. Our Executive Sponsor (VP – Product Digital) is looking to accelerate this for all the entire Technology Organization

     

    "Inspired" by Marty Cagan is a guide for product managers and teams on how to create successful digital products. It focuses on understanding customer needs, building effective teams, and using a "discovery process" to ensure products align with market demands and deliver value. The book emphasizes the importance of focusing on problems over features, engaging developers early, and leading by objective rather than instruction.

    Skills and Requirements

     

    5+ years in Product Management

     

    Healthcare Insurance experience

     

    Product Transformation experience

     

    Strong understanding of Marty Cagan's "Inspired"
