    ABM, a leading provider of integrated facility solutions, is looking for a **Utility engineer** . The Utility person provides assistance with various maintenance projects including operating, maintaining, and inspecting facility equipment in accordance with written, posted and industry standards. Performs regular inspections and reports findings with recommendations to management.

     

    **Pay Range is: $45.00** /HR (http://69.0.0.52/HR)

     

    The pay listed is the salary range for this position. An offer will vary based on the applicant's education, experience, skills, abilities, geographic location, and alignment with market data.

    Schedule – Tuesday thru Saturday

     

    Tuesday & Wednesday – 9am to 530pm

     

    Thursday – 12pm to 9pm

     

    Friday – 9am to 530 pm

     

    Saturday 930 am to 6pm.

     

    1. Repair of toilet facilities including soap dispensers.

    2. Clearing drains by means of plunger and handheld auger.

    3. Perform general labor, such as carrying, stacking and sorting materials used in and around the job site, as well as debris removal.

    4. Using employer supplied vehicles, travel for parts and supplies.

    5. Repairs on registers and radiators.

    6. Minor repairs on furniture and floors.

    7. Maintaining and/or replacing door hardware.

    8. Repair of floor maintenance equipment and venetian blinds.

    9. Maintenance painting in equipment rooms, cooling tower and other touch up in building facility.

    10.General cleaning in mechanical spaces and perimeter induction units.

    11.Clean up job sites and equipment by means of vacuum, mop, broom, floor scrubber, waxer, steam cleaner, high pressure spray cleaner, as well as other types of cleaning devices or equipment.

    12.Cleaning and painting of non-operating mechanical equipment which has been shut down. Lock out by a journeyman engineer.

    13.Miscellaneous handyman work requiring the limited use of hand tools.

    Responsibilities:

    1. Cleaning roof drains, air vents, registers, and radiators.

    2. Replacing lamps and cleaning light fixture.

    3. Maintenance of toilet facilities, excluding energized systems.

    4. Replacing ceiling tiles not affecting fire sprinkler systems and other energized systems.

    5. Minor repairs of furniture and floors.

    6. Replacing air filters.

    7. Cleaning of engineering shop areas.

    8. Replacing fire extinguishers.

    9. Hanging framed objects not requiring the use of power tools and other than cordless drill/drivers.
