    What You’ll Do:

    + Greet customers with a warm, friendly attitude.

    + Efficiently and accurately process purchases at the register.

    + Share knowledge about co-op membership, specials, and store products.

    + Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming checkout area.

    + Assist customers with questions and provide excellent service.

    What We’re Looking For:

    + A friendly, positive attitude and excellent customer service skills.

    + Attention to detail and ability to handle transactions accurately.

    + Ability to work in a fast-paced retail environment.

    + A team player who enjoys working with people.

    + Prior cashier or customer service experience is a plus, but not required—we’re happy to train the right person!

    + Availability to work Part Time including Nights and Weekends.

    Requirements

    Mandatory Qualifications:

    + English proficiency

    + Excellent time management, organizational and communication (oral, aural, and written) skills

    + Detail oriented and able to multi-task and remain flexible to the changing needs of the business

    + Regular, predictable attendance

    Preferred Qualifications:

    + Familiarity with POS systems

    + Previous customer service and cash handling experience

    + Familiarity with natural foods, grocery industry or cooperatives

    Physical Demands:

    + Ability to lift/push/pull/carry up to 10 pounds frequently, 20+ pounds occasionally

    + Manual dexterity with ability to reach, grasp and perform repetitive motions with hands, wrists, and fingers for extended periods of time

    + Close-to-mid-range visual acuity to operate cash registers and focus on and/or read data and words on a computer monitor for extended periods of time

    + Ability to stand and walk for extended periods of time

    + Ability to kneel, crouch, and bend occasionally required
