+ Location: HYBRID: Travel to all entities (City and Suburb) required.
+ Hours: 8hr Days
This position is posted at both the Associate and Consultant level.
*This position requires travel to all Penn Medicine locations (both City and Suburb) for up to 3 weeks at a time. Mileage reimbursement offered.
Summary:
Business Integration Associate
The Business Process Integration Associate is responsible for coordinating and/or leading local and enterprise-wide level execution of Strategic Optimization Projects for their assigned area(s). This is a position requiring independent thought and judgment combined with the ability to understand front-line business operations in a multitude of unique settings.
Working under limited supervision, this individual will facilitate implementation and acceptance of common healthcare technology applications.
Responsibilities:
+ Inform, design and assure implementation and adoption of technology.
+ Assure readiness for new implementations, upgrades, new hospitals/ practices, and workflows.
+ Demonstrable ability to lead and deliver strategically important projects through to completion
+ Support and understand the needs of the client.
+ Communications are timely and appropriate to audience.
+ Maintain confidential information.
+ Complete assignments in a timely manner.
+ Open to change and different approaches to work.
+ Clinical Team only: Coordinate and lead governance and prioritization within the local entities.
+ Performs duties in accordance with Penn Medicine and entity values, policies, and procedures
+ Other duties as assigned to support the unit, department, entity, and health system organization
Certifications:
+ EPIC Certification (Preferred)
Education:
+ Bachelors Degree (Required)
+ And up to 2 years of experience working with electronic medical records
+ Masters Degree (preferred)
+ Prior experience in a medical practice management or healthcare management role (preferred)
+ Experience using Epic (Preferred)
