             Description SAIC is looking for an experienced ServiceNow Developer with specialized focus on Portal, Orchestration and Virtual Agent, to join our team supporting the Department of Transportation (DOT). Full-time onsite at DOT HQ, Washington D.C. ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES + Perform implementation, administration, configuration, and/or development with ServiceNow ITSM application suite, and in identified speciality(ies). + Responsible for the design of the DOT Service Management System (SMS) and supporting the SMS operations, to include engineers and the SMS development life cycle. + Plan and implement all DOT ServiceNow Portals and Portal changes. + Manage all aspects of support and enhancement for Now Intelligence components of ServiceNow. + Design, develop, configure, and customize ServiceNow applications and services. + Deliver new functionality across applications. + Manage and perform SMS development activities, supporting the entire development lifecycle. + Apply SDLC and DevOps principles. + Perform response and resolution for escalated SMS service requests and incidents. + Assist the platform administrator with incident resolution. + Participate in on-call rotation providing support during non-business hours (nights, weekends, holidays). HIGH PRIORITY QUALIFICATIONS, SKILLS, EXPERIENCE, CERTIFICATIONS + 12+ years of relevant IT experience, including at least 6 in administration services for a major Service Management System (SMS), preferably ServiceNow. + Candidate must be proficient with Portal, Orchestration and Virtual Agent. + Current ServiceNow Certified Application Developer (CAD) Certification is required. Qualifications QUALIFICATIONS AND EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS + Minimum 10+ years but highly prefer 12+ years of relevant IT experience, including at least 6 in administration services for a major Service Management System (SMS), preferably ServiceNow. + Bachelor’s degree in Management Information Systems (MIS), Computer Science (CS), or related field; or an equivalent combination of education and experience (6 years of experience in lieu of degree). + Current ServiceNow Certified System Administrator (CSA) Certification is required. + Current ServiceNow Certified Application Developer (CAD) Certification is required. + Current ServiceNow Service Portal Micro Certification is required. + Extensive knowledge of ServiceNow Portal, Orchestration and Virtual Agent. + Either current ServiceNow Virtual Agent or Predictive Intelligence Micro Certification is required. + Extensive experience with design and modification of ServiceNow Portals. + Experience in Javascript, Angular JS (1.X). + Experience in CSS, HTML and Bootstrap 3 framework. + Candidate must be a U.S. citizen or green card holder who has resided in the U.S. for at least 3 years and the ability to obtain a public trust. PREFERRED SKILLS + 6+ years of direct experience in ServiceNow is preferred. + Experience with automation tools (i.e. PowerShell, Ansible, Puppet, etc.). + Two or more of the following current ServiceNow Micro Certifications are desirable: + MC - Predictive Intelligence. + MC - Virtual Agent. + MC - Performance Analytics. + MC - Automated Test Framework. + One or more of the following current ServiceNow Certifications is desirable: + Certified Implementation Specialist - IT Service Management (CIS-ITSM) + Certified Application Specialist - Performance Analytics (CAS-PA) + Certified Application Specialist - Customer Service Management (CAS-CSM) + Current ServiceNow CSM Professional Certification is desirable.
